B.F.A. Thesis Dance Concerts

Join the Department of Dance for an exciting series of dance concerts by B.F.A. candidates.

The Senior/B.F.A. Thesis concerts are produced by the graduating seniors who are doing a Senior Thesis,  B.F.A. – Choreography, or Campuswide Honors project. Each choreographer works with a faculty mentor on their final project. Students work in groups of 4-5 choreographers to produce their works in the William Gillespie Performance Studios (PSTU 1100) during weeks 8-10. The groups organize their team including a stage manager, lighting designers, house managers and any additional volunteers. These concerts are the culmination of their creative work in the Claire Trevor School of the Arts dance department at UC Irvine.
