Zora J Murff is an artist, educator, and organizer currently living in Northwest Arkansas. His research and art practice unpack various modes of structural and interpersonal white-supremacist violence in American society and visual culture. He has published multiple monographs and his artwork has been collected and exhibited at institutions including The Museum of Modern Art, LACMA, Studio Museum in Harlem, and the Museum of Contemporary Photography. Murff currently serves as the Director of Education for the Photographer’s Green Book and works on independent curatorial projects that provide space and opportunity for underrepresented and emerging artists and scholars.
